    To make sure we're all comfortable and familiar with each other, we'll have a call or WhatsApp conversation to talk through styling, confirm your location, plan our approach for the session and discuss additions like super 8 video.

  • the shoot

    Session day! We'll settle in and let everything unfold naturally. I'll offer gentle guidance based on the light, so you'll always know where to be. If timing allows, we might move to that second spot we discussed, but it will all flow effortlessly.

  • delivering your photos

    In 4-6 weeks, you'll receive your private online gallery of hand-edited images. You can select which images you'd like to download, with the option to upgrade to the full gallery to access every frame from your session. You can then decide if you want anything hand-printed from your collection.

I love the deliberate choices film demands. Over the years, I've learned which films work for different moods, different light. There's something profound about understanding not just the camera, but working with the medium itself. The process keeps me human. Especially when I'm somewhere remote, shooting a roll knowing I won't see the results for weeks. First I have to find a way to post it, then wait for the lab, then the scanning. In a world that demands everything instantly, film teaches patience. That anticipation makes you tender toward the work. When the scans finally arrive and you see an image that captures exactly what you felt in that moment - the light, the emotion, the aliveness of it - there's a fulfillment that digital has never given me. Film slows time down. It makes me present. It makes the waiting part of the love..

We will discuss this in our call prior. For summer, less is always more depending on what you are comfortable with. Bare skin, flowing fabrics, no shoes. Ideally for the sunshine.

This depends on the session you have booked. You are always able to download the full gallery for an extra cost.

4–6 weeks. This is time for the film to get to the lab, developed and scanned, and then I will present the gallery to you to choose your favourites. If you like more, you can get the entire gallery.

No problem - we can reschedule for another suitable date or time. If I'm off-island and unable to rearrange, your deposit will be fully returned. If you cancel within 72 hours of the session, the deposit is non-refundable.

Super 8 is a vintage motion picture film format loved for its nostalgic, cinematic feel - natural grain, soft movement, and timeless colour. It captures moments in a way digital simply can't replicate.

As an add-on to your session, it's perfect for creating moving memories - whether that's a short 30-second reel for social media or a longer 1.5 - 2 minute keepsake film. Turnaround time is typically 4 - 6 weeks.

Absolutely. Sessions are relaxed and designed to capture real connection, so family members and pets are always welcome if discussed in advance.

Yes - prints can be ordered directly through your online gallery. You can choose size, paper finish, and framing options, with delivery usually within 3 - 4 days.

If you'd like something more special, I also offer hand-printed darkroom/lab prints made individually by a professional lab. These have a richer, more tactile quality with beautiful tonal depth and craftsmanship that standard prints can't quite match. These bespoke prints are made to order, have a turnaround of approximately 2 - 3 weeks, and are priced at £100 per image.

Yes - I take on a small number of weddings each year when it feels like the right fit. My approach is natural, thoughtful and story-led, capturing the day on film with an honest, timeless feel.
